Mission

TAMPA BAY AUTISM CENTER serves students within the Autism Spectrum and related disabilities grades Kindergarten through 5th grades. We strive to raise awareness of and expand access to educational opportunities for children with Autism and their families and to assist them throughout their lives as they learn, play, work and live in the community.

We Believe in Inclusion!

Tampa Bay Autism Center is part of Tampa Bay Academy. As such, we offer the unique opportunity for inclusion with other non-ASD students. Students are encouraged to participate in the day-to-day schoolwide activities. We strive to provide inclusion in courses such as P.E., art, playtime, chapel, other electives, and extra curricular activities with the general population.

Is Tampa Bay Academy Autism Center a school or a clinic?

We are a private Christian school accepting children with Autism from Kindergarten through 5th grade. At Tampa Bay Academy, we have service agreements with other agencies, which make it possible to provide access to services need for our ASD students. We have a full curriculum of reading, writing, math, science, social studies, art, P.E., and other extra curriculum activities. Our hours of operation are from 8:00 A.M to 4:00 P.M., Monday through Friday.
